Do you offer fail-over routing of incoming calls?

Updated over 5 months ago

Yes! Inbound Call fail-over is currently available.

Inbound calls can fail-over to different destinations including:
Option 1. Failover to different UniTel SIP Trunks configured at other Customer Premise locations. Create additional SIP Trunks for each of your sites.
Option 2. Failover to Endpoint (IP Address). Similar to above, but we will forward the call to an IP address of your created "Endpoint".
Option 3. Failover to off-network Toll Free or Local DID Number. Calls will forward to your provided Fail Over Local DID number.

At this time Fail-Over routing of Incoming calls is configured by our Team, outside of your UniTel Dashboard. To request Inbound Call Failover please contact our team. Don't forget to include the DID or Toll Free Number to configure with Failover, as well as the Trunk Name, Endpoint Name, or Off-network DID number where the calls should forward.
Note: This functionality will be available for management through the Customer Portal in a future release.
